climate policy present an interesting case study of
tensions that arise over legal frameworks to respond
to climate change and the expansion of renewably
sourced energy. These developments include
the deliberate avoidance of new laws and policies
for renewable generation at the federal level, the
rise of climate change denialism within parliamentary
debates and policy-making, and concerns over
Australia’s energy security raised by the integration
of higher levels of renewable generation from
